Airstream is an American manufacturer of recreational vehicles and tow-behind trailers. The manufacturer company was founded in 1920 and well- known for its aluminum body trailers. Wally Byam was the previous owner of the company. The round body design is based on designs by Henry Bowlus familiar to the construction of Charles Lindbergh’s Spirit of St Louis.
